Built for the in-between.
I’m Joe, a runner who takes training seriously and wanted a place to find others doing the same work.
The Chasing Pack Collective is for dedicated, performance-focused amateur runners: people putting in the miles, training consistently and chasing their next mark. We’re building a space for runners between everyday club running and the sub-elite level, where hard work is common even if the pack can still feel hard to find.
Think runners logging upwards of 60 kilometres a week across five or more days, and chasing times such as sub-3:00 for the marathon, sub-85 for the half, sub-38 for 10K or sub-18 for 5K. Those are reference points for the kind of ambition here, not a checklist or formal entry requirement.
Share the sessions
The idea is simple: use the WhatsApp community to share training you already have planned and see who wants to join. “I’ve got 3 × 5K with 1K floats today—anyone want to join in?” One invitation can turn a tough solo session into work you take on together.
A culture beyond the session
Most runners here already have their own training plans, coaches and clubs. The Collective sits alongside those; it doesn’t replace them or add another programme to follow. WhatsApp is where the community connects around training and everything around it: gear, upcoming races, and what’s happening across the running scene. The Strava club is where you can follow the shared activity feed.
